3rd Annual Global Forum
On March 31, the Chamber, in partnership with the Confederation of British Industry, hosted the 3rd Annual Global Intellectual Property Forum, “The Future of Global Innovation,” in London. The Forum brought together strategic thinkers and IP leaders from around the world to discuss how innovation and IP can generate economic growth, create jobs in both the developed and developing world, and address global challenges like climate change and quality health care.
Among an impressive, select group of attendees, Forum participants included representatives from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Confederation of British Industry, European Patent Organization, Fraunhofer IIS, George Mason University Law School, IP Institute, and the Mexican Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property. The Forum was hosted at the Dorchester Hotel in London, UK.

“[An #IP waiver] would be a destructive policy even if it were necessary, but it is not necessary — it is not even likely to prove beneficial for the purpose at hand, which is helping to speed the pace of global vaccinations.” https://t.co/utPA1XuuqU
