ACTION NEEDED: Small and Medium-Sized Businesses – Show Your Support for ACTA

The theft of intellectual property (IP) rights affect American companies of all sizes. Ensuring the competitiveness of American businesses by protecting IP rights should be a top priority for the Administration and Congress, particularly during this period of economic recovery.  Indeed, IP rights are especially important to owners of small and medium-sized businesses who rely on the protection of their ideas in order to get their ventures off the ground.

To help highlight the importance of IP to business of all shapes and sizes we are organizing a letter from business owners from around the country to the U.S. Trade Representative, Ambassador Ron Kirk. This letter expresses our support for a robust Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA).

Tell the USTR you support an ambitious and comprehensive ACTA by signing onto this letter.

To do so, please the following information to Corbin Blackford (cblackford@uschamber.com) giving permission for your company to be included as a signatory:

  • Full Name
  • Title
  • Company
  • Email and Phone
  • Website address (if applicable)

For more information on ACTA, please see the GIPC’s fact sheet, ACTA issues page, or USTR.
