Charles Danehey is Director of Policy and Programs for the Global Innovation Policy Center (GIPC) at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Charles advocates the protection of IP rights both online and in physical markets. His primary responsibilities include spearheading the Chamber’s Discover & Deliver campaign, which advocates on issues affecting the environment for innovation, in particular breakthrough healthcare solutions, and the Chamber’s Plugged In program, which provides startups the tools they need to become effective advocates in government relations (GR).
Before joining the Chamber, Charles served as a Global Government Affairs Associate on Citi Group’s International Team.
Charles graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Administration and a minor in Accounting.
