The Coalition for Healthy India

The Coalition for Healthy India (CHI) is a fresh initiative dedicated to improving healthcare outcomes for Indian patients by ensuring affordable access to the latest and best treatments and cures.  CHI brings together like-minded members of the U.S. and Indian business communities, non-governmental organizations, patient advocacy organizations and health professionals to coordinate and support improved access to healthcare in India.  CHI focuses on five key pillars: raising the standard of care; developing new treatments and cures; ensuring access and affordability; getting medicine to patients; and corporate social responsibility.

This initiative will be led by the U.S. – India Business Council (USIBC), which is the premier advocacy organization representing over 300 of the largest U.S. companies investing in India, joined by global Indian companies, promoting economic reforms with an aim to deepen trade relations and broaden commercial ties.
