Europe & Multilateral Organizations

The GIPC seeks to facilitate enhanced U.S.-EU engagement, cooperation, and coordination to advance IP protection and enforcement, particularly in third-country markets. For example, the GIPC recently hosted the U.S.-EU IPR Working Group dialogue with the private sector to raise industry priorities to be addressed by this group. We will continue to monitor progress of commitments made in this forum and ensure industry engagement in that process. In addition, the GIPC engages with European policymakers and legislators to raise awareness of the value of IP and its role in generating economic growth and competitiveness.
