The Global Intellectual Property Center’s State-by-State Fact Sheet
On July 16, 2009, the Global Intellectual Property Center (“the GIPC”) released a comprehensive study on the importance of intellectual property and innovation in America. The GIPC is an affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The GIPC’s mission is to “champion intellectual property as vital to creating jobs, saving lives, advancing global economic growth, and generating breakthrough solutions to global challenges.”
The study was released on the GIPC’s website under a section called “State Fact Sheet” which shows a map of the United States. Clicking on a state allows visitors to learn about intellectual property from that state.

“Undermining the protection of #IP — the cornerstone of American ingenuity — is not a solution to income or quality of life differences among countries. It would in fact just serve to make all future generations poorer.” https://t.co/JQfesaM3HQ
