Protecting Your Company’s Brand: Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement Manual



On January U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Intellectual Property Center, KPMG LLP, and Arnold & Porter LLC  launched our new publication, Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement Manual: A Practical and Legal Guide for Protecting Your Intellectual Property Rights.

The manual highlights cutting-edge strategies on how to better protect your company’s brand from counterfeiters and digital pirates. This event will feature a panel on brand enforcement best practices and will give attendees an opportunity to network with the authors, case study participants and IP enforcement experts.

About the Publication: The Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement Manual is an evolution from the Coalition Against Counterfeiting and Piracy’s (CACP) 2006 No Trade in Fakes Supply Chain Tool Kit. The manual offers practical advice on how brand owners can protect their intellectual property through careful and proactive brand management. The manual also contains case studies that highlight how these best practices are being implemented by some of the world’s leading companies–including NBC Universal, Unilever, True Religion Brand Jeans, ABRO Industries Inc., Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC, Epson America, Inc., Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co. Inc., New Balance, Altria Group, Purdue Pharma LP, and Xerox.
