Scott M. Hall is senior director of external and public affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Global Innovation Policy Center (GIPC). Hall oversees communications, public affairs, and integrated campaign functions to support GIPC’s mission of championing innovation and creativity through intellectual property standards that create jobs, save lives and generate breakthrough solutions to global challenges.
Hall previously served as director of communications and public affairs for the Alliance of Automobile Manufactures where he led national and state-based campaigns on behalf of global automakers to promote advanced vehicle technologies and improved vehicle safety through smart innovation policies. Before transitioning to communications in 2010, Hall previously served as a staffer in the U.S. House of Representatives for the 111th Congress.
Hall earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 2007. He lives in Arlington, VA.
